THE ARTIST
Masha Saunders (aka grandnobody) is a surreal female artist working at the intersection of psychology and symbolism. Her paintings function as portals—thresholds between the conscious and the unseen—where the inner world takes form through dreamlike landscapes, quiet architectural spaces, and symbolic figures.
Her imagery is inhabited by observers, Guardians, and figures in transition, exploring how we move through systems, how awareness emerges within them, and how the psyche reorganizes itself in response. Her work lingers in the subtle moment when something within begins to recognize itself.
